  • Roll Call 1/12/10 (Tuesday)

    Good morning everyone!

    Today is off to a much better start than yesterday. I'm not a loser today, but at least I'm warm. I was expecting to have to buy a new central air unit for a few grand, but it was only the fan motor. $250 later my family and I are toasty again.

    I have finished induction and will be moving on to OWL in the next few days. I think I need a few more days because out of the blue yesterday I started having cravings. I didn't eat any new foods, so I don't know where the cravings came from. I will be moving on soon though, because I think staying in induction mode for so long is why I keep falling off the wagon.

    I'm here. I'm on plan and looking forward to another insane impossible day at work. No fun today. Trying to get caught up so I can go on vacation without being worried and paranoid the entire time I'm gone! Have a great one!

      Good Morning from freezing Michigan..

      Hi guys.. Today is my 1 week on induction. I did have a slip up this weekend that probably made me not lose as much my 1st week. I weighed in this morning 5 pounds lighter. Hopefully this week will bring me a bigger weight drop. I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday.

        I'm here. I'm up in weight, but my inches haven't increased. I guess my body is being stubborn with giving up food/fat right now. Well I'm just going to wait until my body stops trying to hold my fat hostage.

          Tired this morning. Nothing a good breakfast and workout wont fix. Tomorrow would be my last day of induction but Im going to do one more week before the switch. Have a great day and get out there and exercise.

              I gained... twice in a row now... I wanna blame it on TOM but I don't even think it's that time yet...

              So, I'm restarting again. I haven't been keeping a close-close eye on my carb intake... I've been eating things that are induction friendly, but not watching net carb counts and portions so much...

              I need to be strict and tough it out for two weeks... and then, progress through the phases (something I've never accomplished before) -I've always stayed on extended induction... so, this time I want to give this WOE a chance the right way.

                Whew! One week (and 13 pounds!!) down. I am feeling really good and starting to get that energy that I loved so much before!

                    Be careful with the not eating enough. If your body goes into famine mode you will feel like crap and stall. You might want to make sure you are getting enough calories and actually count them. If you need your calories to go up, throw some olive oil or other good fats in with your food to boost it without taking in more food.

                      Good Morning. Day 5 of induction. My body is adjusting really well this time around. I stepped on WII Fit and weighed in at 247, my highest weight ever. The program told me that I am 53, nice. Then it also told me that my body was probable hurting really bad. - How did it know?
                      I have started doing light exercise as I have been doing nothing for so long. Something is better then nothing at this point.
                      I still have sugar cravings and the site of bread makes me drool... but I got a hold of it this time around.

                        Good morning, just checking in keep myself on track today -

                        Yesterday while slicing an apple for my daughter, i took a bite - mostly habit I guess...i don't feel so bad - it could have been a cookie...

                          Day 1 for me. I've been through this so many times I know the drill and am prepared for a long 14 days ahead!

                          I've decided not to weigh in for awhile. I find myself obsessed with the scale and if it doesn't show change and I feel I've been on track - it's really depressing. Measuring inches is also depressing. So I'm going by the size thing ... seing as though I have from size 6-14 in my closet right now and those size 6's were not from THAT long ago ... just three years ago, I think this will help keep me motivated.

                          So nice to see all the people on the daily roll call!

                          Here I go!

                          Goal 2: Fit into my size 14 jeans
                          Goal 3: Fit into my size 12 jeans
                          Goal 4: Fit into my size 10 jeans

                            Good morning from sunny Las Vegas!

                            I'm here, working the plan, back working on Owl rung 3 and I've realized that I wasn't consistently adding in the additional carbs I should be for this rung, so I'm watching it really closely.

                            Taking some green cabbage to work as a snack to add in those veggie carbs I need to add in...

                              On track, and doing good.

                              Had a baby budge on the scale today.. xing my fingers it's real weight and not just from peein' all that water I've been drinking..

                              TMI I'm sure.. LOL

                              Started Dec 2005 and lost 105 lbs by mid 2006, maintained loss for the most part until 2009...then really let go & gained some back... lol
