    Good morning everyone!

    Welcome back Jon, great to have you back with us. Grey's Anatomy starts back up tonight, set your DVR's.

    I am a loser again, down 2 more. I didn't overindulge in pickles yesterday as I had in the last two days. So I guess the water retention is over.

    I have found that the secret ingredient restaurants use in their wing sauce is... white wine vinegar. I was looking through literally hundreds of wing sauce recipes trying to find a different taste other than the ridiculously hot wings I usually make. I found that a lot of the recipes called for white wine vinegar, and it really does transform the taste. It gives it a very pleasant tangyiness that mine was lacking. Give it a shot. I threw a tablespoon in with my regular wing sauce and it was awesome.

    I also am going to try some other things like butter garlic and lemon pepper. I came across some other recipes that were kind of exotic, but they are not so atkins friendly. If anyone has any other cool flavors, let me know.

    Im ready for some wings! I dont see how you lose almost everyday. I feel like I havent lost a pound. Im sure I have but I refuse to weigh. I think the day on Ozlovers thread cought my eye and thats why I didnt see yours. Have a great day and keep up the good work.

      I am fortunate enough that my body takes to this WOE very well. My losses should come to a screeching halt as I hit PISS in the next week or so. Until then, I am loving life. The other side of that is the fact that I gain weight quickly too when I screw up. I put on 55 pounds in 8 months of eating everything I could. I don't do moderation well.

          Good morning all! I am back again...CRAWLING back and ready to lose again. Last year this board and the WONDERFUL people on it helped me lose over 40 pounds and eventually win a Biggest Loser Contest ($230!). Since then I've gained back about 15 pounds of that weight and I'm ready to get rid of it...and then some. I had my first weigh in today after a not-so-clean first week of induction and I've lost 6 pounds in the first week...From 298 to 292. I'm not happy with the loss, but I know it's because I got caught in a situation where socially I had to eat carbs ("had to"...I know, I know) and drink a few beers. Therefore I'm considering this the first day of my induction and I plan to go clean for the next two weeks. That should atone for my past screwups this week and get me on track.
          Like TJ, my body reacts well to this WOE and I lose pretty consistently. My goal is to hit 265 by March 12th, the first day of base ball spring training for my team. (Join us in Ocean City, MD if you're close by....)
          So anyway, it's good to be back. Good luck to all today and over the weekend... Good day to all!

            This one sounded right up your alley Tfek...I used to have an amazing recipe for thai wings, but again, the ingredients were not so Atkins friendly...

              Hey guys! Those wings sound good with the white wine vinegar. I'll have to try them. I've made lemon pepper wings and they were really good. I fry mine (without flour) melt butter in a pan, when the butter has melted I add lemon juice (or I'll squeeze a fresh lemon after I poured the butter on the wings, and then I add coarse ground pepper.

                I don't think the recipe looks too bad. Looks a little light in the peppers department, but I can spice that up some. Did your Daves Insanity come in yet? A little taste of that will tell you how twisted I am.

                        I'm here... not losing... AGAIN.

                        I'm getting very discouraged... I've never plateaued like this on this WOE before... three days without even an ounce lost... a couple ounces up for two days and then stayed the same on the third day... :/

                        Nevertheless, I'm not going to stop eating this way... I just feel healthier this way. I need to keep that in mind when I get discouraged... it's not about the weight...

                        In fact, I think I'm going to stop weighing myself... I wake up feeling skinnier, feeling like I look skinnier... and then I get on the scale and get pissed...

                        I'm taking a break from the scale.

                          Same exact thing happened to me last week...and I have decided not to get on the scale for two weeks (which will make it the 26th of January). I have to admit that I am terrified because I am- was- a daily weigher and that stupid number on the scale affected my mood for the whole day. I know it is impossible to gain a pound in a day if I have followed the plan, but it would still get to me...I didn't notice if there is a "no weighing in" ongoing challenge, but I challenge you to stay off the scale until the 26th with me!

                              Their hottest really isn't. They sell that at the local festivals around here and it does have a great flavor, just not a lot of heat. Dave's is on a whole different level.
