    Wow!! What fantastic induction weight losses! I'm so inspired and so determined to stick with this all the way! 6 days in...so far so good 6.5lbs off! I'm finding Atkins so easy to stick to and I have to say I haven't felt this good in a long time...my mood is better, I'm so much more relaxed at home and at work and the overwhelming fatigue I have suffered for months has left me!

      So far on Induction, I've lost 10 pounds. Looking forward to losing the rest!
      This diet is the only one I've been able to have willpower on.

        I am restarting Atkins - I lost 60 lbs five years ago and kept if off until this last year, where I gained backed 20 lbs! When I was originally on Atkins - I simply melted, week after week. Now, it seems - my weight won't budge! I am not having more than 20 grams of carbs a day - am drinking water and enjoying 2-3 servings of green leafy veggies a day.

        Can any of you provide me with (or direct me to) an outline of Induction daily menu's? It's been so long since I was on Induction that I can't remember what I ate!!!

        Oh and yes, I dug up a copy of "the book." But I need a little more detail to get back on track! I KNOW this WOE works - but something is going on with me!!!

            Monday was my first week and I lost 8lbs yeah! I am trying to only weigh my self once a week. I hope this next week is just as good.

              I keep a diary with daily weight, weekly measures and monthly pics; lost 15.5 pounds (7.2 kilos) in the first week.

                The first time I did Atkins I lost 9lbs the first week and 11 the following week.

                The last time I lost 6lbs in the first week and 5 in the second week.

                This time I am excersizing a lot more and drinking more water so hopefully my numbers will be like the first time...even if they're not, hey its coming off right?

                      Well It looks like I've only lost mnaybe 3 in a week, I read in the Atkins book if you have candida weight loss is slower and I have a fungus , mold and yeast infection from vaulty implants, but I had them removed 9/12/06 so hopefully I'll be getting better soon. Also I still have one 24 oz decaf coffee in the am with about 3 ot 4 tablespoons of the cappicunio from the machines at 7 11 I know this is a nono but can't give that up .....

                        I just restarted atkins after falling off for a year. It is day 5 and I have lost 5 pounds. Its amazing but does anyone know how much of it is actually water/ fat?

                          I'm so jealous! I lost 3 pounds on induction, total! I've been on for about a month now and am down a total of 10 pounds. Most of the loss I've had has been inches. I've gone down two sizes. My closet looks so bare!

                              I'm glad to hear that you're still hopeful. Stick with it and all the frustrations will melt away along with some of you! I was very discouraged at first since I didn't see the scale move, plus my son and daughter in-law were losing lots of pounds. I didn't take any measurements, but luckily my clothes were showing the effects of the fat loss. If you haven't taken measurements do it now, then every two weeks or so compare. That has been my crutch.

                                Well, I have to admit I cheated saturday night (tempura) and also have been having nuts because I had nothing better to snack on. First week loss is 4 pounds, but starting tomorrow, I will stick to plan. (I say tomorrow because I already had almonds for my morning snack at the office...oops!)
