Even me, Mr. confident almost lost it today. Been on induction for 10 days. Havent come close to cheating. Did atkins before and it was difficult and kept all the weight off even after i went back to what is considered a "normal" way of eating. i just never went back to the real junk. anyway....today was a bad day, nearly fatal (fatal in atkins diet terms). im 5'11 225 down from 255 in march and i desperatly wanna lose 25-30 more pounds. been doing excellent on induction. im at that point where you talk to everyone about it, feel SOOOOOO good about yourself, and life is just all around awesome! i dont crave anything in the french fry-cheesesteak-mexican ballpark, but im DYING for some "BLEEPING" chocolate!!!!!!!!! so, i went to the supermarket 30 minutes ago and i really thought i was just gonna give in and just shake it off in the morning with some extra exercise. i was in the ailse that has everything that you'd ever want. oreo's, chips ahoy, etc.
well, im proud to say that on day ten- i didnt give in. i did get some macadamia nuts (4 carb grams per serving) and had a couple servins of that but considering what might have been, i considered this a victory tonight. that nuts sort of helped by taking the edge off, but it was a close call.
i need some advice on what i can have sweet. all i do is sugar free jello. you have to remember im a single guy, live alone, cant just make stuff cause a)im an idiot in the kitchen. all i know how to do is make eggs and put meat on the george foreman grill. otherwise ill literally burn down the apartment.
so, is there something i can buy that will satisfy this sweet tooth which is atkins friendly other than sugar free jello, or whip something up that doesnt require quantum physics in the kitchen!

p.s i ran/walked 3 miles today after work along with situps, crunches and pushups

just remember to add up the Carbs and Fat and Sweetener into your Daily count...
