Re: Size 34 pants are lookin' good

Well at the risk of sounding corny, all of you are inspiring me!
Two months in, and having learned a lot from you, I've been re-thinking my goals and instead of delving down to 188 lbs. which was my young adult skinny weight, I think it's more realistic, with increased muscle weight I am adding, and other factors like my age, to target 194. That's still another 17 lbs. to go ... but I have changed my thinking to look at the whole picture (health, look, inches, weight, strength, shape, confidence, outlook, energy, and more), not mostly thinking about weight.
    Thanks for everyone's support!
    PS: Headed to the gym.

      Well done.

38s for me, down from 44.

I have one pair of 36s, but they measure the same as the 38s! Vanity sizing.

How I would love to tone up more round my middle, but at my age . . .

Pictures please. Not enough male role models on this board.
Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
      he said, 'Don't count calories.'

Thanks Labarum. You look great in your pictures! Younger and healthier.
I can relate - I just ran into a former neighbor who said I looked 10 years younger.
On the pants, an update is that while I can wear 34s, baggy is definitely in, so I'll stick with my 36s for a while longer or search for the illusive 35s.

          Whoa! You the G-Man!

That is absolutely AWESOME! You are an inspiration to me. Especially with all those push ups you do in one day. I always look for your numbers and push myself to do more! Not in competition but in motivation. Now that I am out of size 56 pants, I am working on the mid to low 40s.

Thanks for sharing with us. Way to go!

P.S. Thanks for fixing that Abs Challenge error on my numbers!

            Thanks Minofex1 !
Congrats on your pants downsizing. Isn't it great?
I have been slackin' on the push ups lately...but they are getting easier. That is pretty cool about exercise--after a few weeks you tone up those new muscles. I was really stupid bad on the stability ball the first time I tried it and now it is getting to be old hat. Biking outside was like this, too. The smallest hills, like an expressway bridge, were a big deal at first.
Imagine where we will be in the future as we keep this up!!!
