Just wanted to bring it to your attention. For some people the "not allowed" foods could stall you, for others - maybe not. Happy losing! :wave

I urge all of you to think of yourselves as people that would be stalled!Originally posted by Sarah1341Just wanted to bring it to your attention. For some people the "not allowed" foods could stall you, for others - maybe not.
I don't know about you all, but I want this weight off of me asap, and I don't want to be gambling with unknown odds. :guns

Half and half was not on the list when I checked my book but light and heavy cream was, so I walked to the store and got some light cream.
My eggs are done and in the fridge (I ate 1) and the chicken is cooked and cooling on the counter. Once it is cool I will pull it apart and put the meat in the fridge.
Had another 500 ml water too. Sure is warm outside today. :joy

I have researched this diet through and through..and today is my day I am officially starting today. I am gonna take it one day at a time and just jump in and do this. If I can lose about 10lbs during Induction, I will be happy. I am weighing in at 158lbs.

I look forward to accompanying you on your Atkins journey to better health and trimmer figures.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

me, too!
I'm re-starting induction today, too. I started induction for the very first time two and a half weeks ago, but had some slips. I finally went and got the book, and am working my through it. I applied for Boot Camp, I really want to do that because I think the accountability will help me stay on track because I really want to do a clean induction.
Good luck to us all!

Is there room for one more in the June 1 club?
I started Atkins two years ago yesterday and lost 50+ pounds and greatly improved my health. Since that early success, I've been on again, off again and have basically just maintained my weight (at least I haven't gained). The good news is that I've been hitting the weights at the gym, so I'm in better shape, if not any lighter.
I have 50+ pounds to go and am going back to clean induction, combined with lots of gym time. I've gotta make it this time...I'm seeing too many of my 40 year old friends dying of heart attacks and I don't want to be one of them.
Anyway, I probably became content with my initial success and got lazy, although I never totally got away from low carb. I now realize how "just a few days" off plan can wreck the results of a month on-plan, and I plan to avoid that this time.
Here we go again

Blue Moose, of course there is room for one more. I'll scooch over and make room. :hug
I know what you mean about getting lazy. That was what I did and then after I regained all my weight (and lost my longtime boyfriend on top of it) I started feeling sorry for myself. Well..let's just say what happened next wasn't pretty but I am here and beginning again and it *is* a fresh start.
I'm glad you had the smarts to stick with the weights. I didn't. I even quit exercising. I sometimes wonder where I would be now physically
if I had of continued instead of giving up. Probably a lot lighter and healthier and better looking. My relationship with my bf might even have taken a turn for the better...who knows? Trouble is I will never know but I *can* move forward as you can as well. You have my best wishes and support as everyone else here does.
I agree...here *we* go again. :icondance

Day 2....
How's everyone fairing today? I have to admit that yesterday was much easier than today! With a 2 year old, it's hard not to fall into the fish sticks & fries routine. (His favorite meal!) I have to make my husbands lunch for pick up, my son's lunch, put him down for a nap & then make my own lunch. It means I'll be spending a lot more time in the kitchen, the very place I'd hoped to avoid! At least I filled the fridge with "approved" foods.
I've got a bit of headache today, & I'm really feeling tired. I went to bed last night at 10:00 & woke up at 8:00 feeling as though I hadn't slept! That's the longest I've slept in years, but I still need a nap this afternoon!
Anyway, hope everyone is doing well & I wish everyone luck for day 3 & on.....
