    Hi Kim

I have a wee bit of a headache and am tired too myself today. It is from either Induction, my TOM or a combo of both. :sadblinky The 2 midol I just took should help.

I'm not very hungry today which might be a good sign but earlier when my son made a peanut butter sandwich for himself it sure smelled good
and tempted me for a few moments. I will be glad when the Carb monster is off my back.

I know what you mean about the fishsticks and fries. Those were my kids fav meals when they were small.

Once the midol takes effect I am off for a nice cool shower. We're having a bit of a heatwave here today. The shower should perk me up.

"I reject your reality and substitute my own."

I just saw your signature quote! It made me laugh! I love MythBusters! It's the household's favorit show. (That is where it's from, right?)

BC had a heatwave last week, if I'd have been on Atkins then, I would have died. I can't stand the heat, it makes my naseous at the best of times plus I'd have even less energy. At least this week is much cooler, with lots of cloud. My kind of weather!

Yep, my signature quote is from Mythbusters. I *absolutely* LOVE that show. I have such a crush on Jamie Hyneman (the guy with the beret). :love
He just makes my heart beat faster AND he is a da*n handsome man to look at. His wife is ONE lucky woman!! (Okay now I am sounding too much like a drooling single gal here..LOL!)

I love that show so much I even printed out the tv schedule for it and tape each eppy so I can watch them again and again. I've even taped over old movie tapes I had but don't watch anymore.

The weather is hot here but not muggy and once the sun sets it still gets chilly. I have a nice crossbreeze going through my place so it is nice in the house at the moment.

          Still laughing....

Seriously? This is the guy that gets the blood pumping? Gotta love the teeny tiny gold shorts! Well, to each his own, I guess! At least Jamie wasn't the one who got his lip stuck in a vaccuum motor or burned off his hair or eyebrows! But seriously, the moustash has got to go, it wiggles when he talks.

I'm sorry, I'll stop now. I'm not making fun of you, don't take it personally! I just thought it was funny to see someone else who enjoyed the show!

Gawd love those gold shorts. That is the guy. :yes

The mustache has to stay. That is one reason why I like his looks.
(No worries. I'm not taking anything personally)

              It's Friday!

I hate Friday's! Okay, just since being on Atkins. Friday is the day we get pizza or Chinese or some other horrible take-away meal. Not today! It's pork chops with cauliflower & salad. Yippee!

I'm feeling great today! How about everyone else? I actually got up with my husband this morning at 7:30, without hitting snooze & without crawling back into bed after he left. The best part? I didn't have a nap this afternoon like I usually do when my son goes to sleep! Could this possibly be that long-lost energy returning? It's about time!

So far, it's been 3 days, no slip ups. My only mess up was today. I didn't have breakfast until 1:00ish. I had to be up & out of the house for a showing, so didn't have time to make the bacon & eggs! I'm not really hungry either. I've had a European weiner (considered to be breakfast), 2 smokies & a salad for lunch, & I'm going to have dinner. Probably just one pork chop instead of the usual 2!

              Yippee!

PS I've also weighed myself. I know it's bad but I need some good solid evidence that this is working! I'm down 4 pounds since I started!

Just thought I'd bump up this thread and see how you are all doing! I also started on June 1st and have lost 12 pounds so far! I am staying in induction a bit longer, maybe for 2 mos total, still haven't decided! Please post your progress!

yeah me too...an accidental cheat led to me feeling really guilty and just giving in to half a pizza...i gained 4lbs from it but have been cheat free this week and i finally lost the 4lbs again so im kind of a week behind! Staying in induction for a while though.
