Caffeine can lower your blood sugar. When this happens, your brain thinks it's starving and will send you cues to eat something quick. So it can cause cravings, headaches, dizzyiness, fatigue, etc.
Also part of the weight loss on Atkins is due to stabilizing your blood sugar and avoiding extreme swings. So, it's not a good idea to eat or drink something that can destabilize it.
