  • stalled!!!

    i started at 260 lbs and started this diet about 2 weeks ago. now im stuck at 250 and am not losing anything. i guess im going to cut the diet soda and flavored water. but i do love my flavored water.

    Don't worry. everyone stalls. I've been stalled for 2 1/2 months and I finally lost a lb.. haha.

    I don't think it'll take long for you though.

      Yep, sometimes you just have to look for stall suspects. But at two weeks you're not officially stalled. You could also be burning fat and the whoosh is right around the corner. Good job on your two weeks!

        Ok, let me get this straight, you lost 10 lbs during Induction (your first two weeks) and you haven't lost in a few days? urplequ:

        Give your body some time to adjust. Drink lots and lots of water. Are you exercising? You are male and quite young, you will start losing again very soon, don't worry! You are doing fine!

        No Weigh Until Christmas Day!!!

          It's very normal for this to happen in the beginning, and remember that your body will take little pauses every once in a while as well.

            good to hear. im glad the 10 pounds are gone. ive been playing basketball and swimming cause it is burning up here in the ky. ive got a baseball game tonight lexington legends (boo) but its free. hopefully itll be fun.

                    but i must have my flavored water.... :thumbsdo: i just dont know if i can part with it. water is just nasty no flavor or anything. ahhh this is why i quit last time.

                      put your water bottles in the freezer...not till they are frozen, but just get them REALLY cold, extremely cold water is a lot easier to drink I think. or maybe put a tad bit of lemon juice in your water.

                          Lemon juice is a 'Special Category Food' and you'll find the info about it on page 129 of DANDR. :yes

                            Some people put a slice of cucumber or lemon in a jug or bottle of water just to add a bit of a flavour and keep adding water to it as you drink it..
                            You do have to watch your limit on lemonjuice as Moochiecat suggested.

                              Drink your water through a straw. It seems to go down a lot faster.
