    good god im tired of water already and im hungry i havent ate anything (i know its not ood) but im a teen with no cash and all they have here are sweets. ahhhh

      You might benefit from planning. Take the time to prepare appropriate foods to bring with you or to have ready for you, if you need to eat a snack.

      Some of these things include:
      hard boiled eggs
      cubes of cheese or cheese sticks
      pepperoni
      can or packets of tuna or chicken

      Failing to plan is planning to fail.

        you can quit the h20,i thought i could NEVER give up bread, but not it is just a memory (good memory)but just a memory,males lose better than females and once you start losing again you will see great results good luck

          WARNING!! When it says we can use lemon juice, thats lemon juice from a real lemon not that stuff that comes out of a plastic lemon container. Make sure you read the label!!!

              If you are willing to quit this WOL because you can't have flavored water, then you haven't fully committed to this new life. Diet Soda and Flavored water aren't on the acceptable foods list anyhow . . .

              How important is losing weight to you? Enough to give up flavored water for a little while ?

                The water thing is as non-negotiable as the "less than 20 grams of carbs".

                Get bottles of water. Chug some every 10 minutes. I can drink 60 fluid ounces just working out. If you can't stand water, commit to drinking down 1 25 oz bottle in the a.m., one in the afternoon, 1 in the evening. Just DO IT. The rest of the time, you can drink something else that is legal on Atkins.

                I hated water, too. Absolutely despised it. However, my body started craving it within 3 days of my having started to consume the required amount.

                Now, do yourself a favor and go read the postings about water on the FAQ's board. It will convince you!

                    The problem is that its a "Sweet". During induction we are trying to kill all sugar cravings and having sweet items doesn't help much. Lots of sugar addicts out there.

                    Another thing is that most sweetened drinks use aspartame, which is recommened to stay away from. Also, We are limited to 3 sweetners per day.
