Hello all,
I haven't posted much in the past week or so because I just wanted to stop whining and wait for result. Tomorrow (Monday) makes 4 weeks on Atkins and I am still at 263lbs. I did measure myself and I see a difference in the size of my waist and upper torso. Generally I feel ok. I have increased my exercise to 3 miles in the morning and sometimes 3 additional miles in the evening. I say sometimes because her in Germany it is just scorching hot and I can't workout in the weather. I don't have an alternative to walking currently. I am working on getting some workout dvds to help.
I am not sad like I was before. I am more determined. I really want to lose this _*&^*$%(&@#^%$* weight. I need the help of you guys. I hve done all I know how to do and still nothing. I have eaten less red meat and more chicken. We are grilling out almost every day for dinner. I am eating 1 or 2 muffins for breakfast (bacon, egg and cheese in muffin tin broiled). I usually have a salad with greens, cucumbers, avacado and almonds with oil and vinegar dressing for lunch. For dinner my hubby grills chicken, salmon (havnt eaten just him and the kids), steaks and ribs. I allow myself a snack sometimes which is a couple of pecans or a popsicle (carbsolution 5 carbs, 0net) I haven't had many of those. Just found them 2 days ago. I can do with out them, but they fit the 20 carb a day thing.
Now I am willing to do what ever it takes. Can someone suggest a menu (one that I can afford with food easily found here in Germany). I need a buddy. I will talk to you every day and tell you every single morsel I put in my mouth, my emotions, the whole nine. I will tell you my daily activity. Perhaps I am missing something.
I will be going back to the states on July 15. I have about 21 days. I would really like to be at 250 or less by then.
Please help me. Those of you who have had success or want to be my buddy. Please help. My personal email address is csimonerivers@aol.com. I check it every day. Feel free to email me.
Praying for a change...working toward a new me.
