    Sausage

I bought some sausage because it had zero carbs, but is this allowed on induction? If not, is it because of the sodium?

Check the ingredients. I have a hard time finding legal sausage because it usually contains, dextrose, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, sugar, corn syrup solids, etc. Sometimes it contains sugar, even when the carb count says 0, so be cautious.

Nope, it had none of those things, that was the first thing I checked out.

Uh oh, looks like I may have made a slight mistake with my sausages!!! Better check them when I get home.

Sausages are fine as long as they don't have sugar or other ingredients not on the acceptable food list!

If you're eating something that you know is high in sodium, just be mindful of how much of it you are eating, and take in more water to help flush that through.
