  • First day over

Well yesterday was my first day of induction.

I had a bit of a headache in the morning but am sure that was from being dehydrated from drinking the night before. Something I very seldom do but my bestfriend/SIL/diet buddy came over to spend the night and we drank Pina Colada's, sang Karaoke and played cards and had a great time!! She started her WW yesterday. I think it is great that we can have different plans and be okay with it...though I hope to lure her to my side with my success...LOL!

I had a very nice breakfast....ham and mozz quiche. It was very nice though I could have easily had double the serving size. And lunch was Cauliflower soup, a small salad and 2 tuna muffins. That was more cooking than I ever do in a day. Then my headache turned into a Migraine and I only managed to get down another cup of soup for dinner. All recipes from http://users3.ev1.net/~fontlady/index.html the induction section.

I picked my goal weight. I have decided to aim for 150. That means I need to lose 87 pounds. That makes me so sad to see that. How could I do that to myself?? Anyway, I wanted a number that was not too unrealistic to reach. I would much rather reach it and have another goal than have a goal that I can't reach. With all the dieting in the past that I have done to my body to mess it up and having PCOS who knows how hard this weight will be to move. But I am more than willing to try.

    Have a successful day!

Hi Elsie! I don't have PCOS but my starting stats are very close to yours. I think 150 is very attainable for you! The only difficult part is us shorties tend to lose slowly so be careful not to get discouraged. You're going to do great!

            Thanks Rhonda!
If that is close to what I can look like a goal then WAHWHOO! You are looking good! I am quite a bit rounder than you were at the start....man those few inches can make a difference. Still I am excited. Thanks again.

              Re: First day over

Congrats on your first day! The first three or four are the most difficult, what with Induction Flu (some get it, some don't) and adjusting to the need to cook more, think about what you are eating, etc.

Before you know it, this woe will be automatic for you and you will be feeling absolutely fantastic!

Thanks Finelly! Darn it...I am one of those with induction flu. At least I think it is. My head is hurting. I had a Migraine my first day and then an almost one everyday since. So am pretty sure it is induction flu and not left over from my Migraine. Hope it passes soon! EVEIL SUGAR GET OUT OF MY BODY NOW!!
btw...looking at your measurements I am glad I took mine what incentive that must give you to continue with your journey. Keep up the good work!
