    Re: 65/30/5 nightmare

I am basing my calrie intake on weightlossresources.co.uk who say i should consume 1100 and the BMR site recommended to me on this site who say i should consume 1300. trying to stay in between these two.

But without uping fat percentage and sticking to vegetable quantites find it hard at 65% to go over 1200.

Yes, TOM can definitely do that to you. You've probably read in our advice to others that we even recommend avoiding the scale for the whole of TOM because it can throw you all over the place.

I suggest you try an experiment for a week or so. Just follow the Rules of Induction and eat as you are instructed from the Acceptable Foods list. Keep within your limits and don't look at the calorie count....focus on the amounts suggested in DANDR and adhere to them. Keep your menu simple.

Also, again, you are very close to goal so you need to start educating yourself about OWL. Read read read, and move on soon, because you are less than 10 pounds from goal.

Moochie is right - some of us can get sucked into over analysing our menu and making it all too complicated.
Try to relax and just continue eating with the ratios you have worked out and trust Dr Atkins
Betty (former admin) lost absolutely nothing on her 14 day induction but she moved on to OWL and started to lose. She is now at goal and maintaining and doesnt get here too often as she is running another board somewhere in cyberspace.
So once your 14 days are up move on to the veg rung and add 5 net carbs of one of your induction veggies and see how you go
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!
