A leftover chicken leg from last night's dinner and cheese crisps (thinly sliced or use shredded cheese put on cooking parchment paper, zap in microwave for about a minute until it's crispy).

This morning I made some eggs with melted cheese on top... MMM soo good.

Does any one have any recipes with brussel sprouts? I got some and I don't know how I would cook them.

Brussels Sprouts are a bit like cabbage but with more bite. I love them just boiled in salted water and then buttered. You might want to try mixing them with bacon also. Once I heard that they were great fried, so I fried them and they popped all over the stove and made a great mess.

(Betty is in Maintenance and she's a pro at all of this by now, so she knows how to fit something like a shake into her daily intake!)
Thanks for clarifying that, Moochie. You're absolutely right. Eating breakfast during induction or OWL is critical to the success of anyone. When I was in induction, I ate eggs and bacon just about everyday!

ooh thnx I tried sort of steam-stirfrying them with some chicken. I cut the sprouts in quarters. wow it is SO good. I found them on sale, I think I will get some more...! One of my fave Atkins diet items so far.

I cooked a nice breakfast for my fiancee and I this morning,

                    I had smoked salmon

and scrambled eggs. The eggs had chopped tomato and shallots in them.

Here is some info on shallots (I prefer them to normal onions:

Weekend breakfast so I have a bit more time:

Cheese, artichoke and spinach egg crepe (Saute the spinach and artichoke bottom, pour a beaten egg over the top, cook until the egg is set. Toss the cheese on top and broil until melted.)

                          Re: So whats for breakfast.

I was really really hungry for breakfast this morning. I had an egg, a piece of chicken and cheese. Usually I have some eggs. And that's it.

Is increased appetite normal? I read from the book that appetite shud be diminished, not increased, right?

Okay 2big where did you get that recipe. Is it induction friendly?

of course it is induction friendly

i added left over homemade chilli a bout a table sppon with (extra pot liquids to flavor the veggies) with lots of extra chopped up veggies like onoins tomatoes peppers to the frying pan and cooked the veggies tender. if you like them cruchy you can skip that step ( I had beans in mine cause i'm a goalie and past OWL) you make your regular omlette base of eggs and whatever you use I'm a purest so only eggs in my base then sprink;ed on some cheese i like and some hot sauce I like folded it over and viola chili cheese omelette. you can go fancy and use two skillets so you have the eggy outside and the chilicheese stuff inside but heck I'm a use as few pans as possible cook. you can add avacado if you can handle it too. for those who can't do tomotoes or onions sprinkle some chilipowder ( count those carbs) in the eggy mix for the chile flavor
