Congrats! Now you have to make sure you are eating something. It's very easy to "forget" to eat now that you don't feel hunger as easily as before.
So keep the "don't go more than 6 waking hours without food" rule in mind. If your appetite really goes away, eat 4-6 small meals throughout the day to keep your blood sugar levels steady.
Hey, I'm in the same boat...no hunger pains either! I have to force myself to have a small snack or lunch at work. I've learned to set my watch to beep at me to remind myself to eat. Otherwise, I get too caught up with whatevers going on.
Gotta love Dr Atkins and spreadin' the love about ketosis!!!!

I have the same problem. In the morning it's so hard because I have a "full" feeling when I wake up. Is it acceptable to eat maybe a hardboiled egg and a little cheese just to get something down? Or, is that too little?
I would think that would be acceptable as long as you have proper meals, too. Believe it or not, the more you eat (up to 20 carbs) the more you lose. At least in my case. Good luck!

Yes - if you can only manage a couple of mouthfuls first thing that is fine - just eat something to start the old digestion and metabolism working!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies? Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Just make sure you don't go more than 6 waking hours without eating. If you don't choose to eat several smaller meals, then make sure you eat properly during the 3 meal schedule. By eating properly, make sure you eat your combinations of fat, protein and carbs. So lunch can be tuna and mayo with celery sticks, dinner can be a chicken leg and sauteed green beans, breakfast can be a ham and mushroom quiche, etc.
Eventually, you'll find that some days your hunger will be greater than other days---that's totally normal because if you allow your body to do it, you'll begin to eat only that amount that your body needs to function. This is why Dr. Atkins said you don't have to count calories because we self-regulate calories on Atkins: the appetite suppression of ketosis enables you to re-learn those natural hunger-satiety cues you had when you were a newborn baby.
Day 12 for me,I'm not hungry AT ALL. Haven't eaten yet, nothing sounds good.Well,I was thinking over breading some shrimp with egg&coconut-but,that would probably be too many carbs.
I know in Atkins first book (1972-74) he said not to eat if you're not hungry.

Skip the breading on that shrimp! You're still in induction, so no breading is allowed!!! Why screw up a clean induction when you're so close to the end?

I mean using an egg wash and coconut as breading.

Wiseblood, things have changed since 1972. In the later books, Dr. Atkins realized how important it was to keep blood sugar levels steady, hence the "don't go more than 6 waking hours without eating rule" in the 2002 edition of the diet.
Also coconut is NOT allowed during the first 14 days of the diet.
