    I lost 15 pounds and 11.5 inches
    Highest Weight: 339.5 on 1/1/06

    Start Date: 4/5/06

    Start Weight: 331
    Weight as of 4/19/06: 314
    • Next weigh-in/measurements: May 13th


    Start Inches: 170
    (total for abdomen, waist and chest only)
    Inches as of 4/19/06: 160.5



    Mini Goal: 275 by July 4

    It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      OMG..congratulations!! That is awesome! May I ask..did you exercise at all or just followed the acceptable foods list to the 'T'. Today was my end of two weeks and my results were lets say a little less. Just need some inspiration.

          Awww I'm so jealous .. you guys are really dropping weight fast ;-)

          Congrats to 15 lbs gone! And make sure you take a few pictures if you haven't already, we are all waiting to see before and after pics in a few weeks/months/at goal

            Congratulations! I'd also like to know all the details, i.e. exercise, diet, etc.

            Highest weight 150# on Jan 1st, 2006

            Started induction 1/13/06
            Fell on my face 2/5/06
            Back on induction 2/6/06

              Now, folks, remember that a person can look forward to losing 5 to 10% of their desired weight loss in those first two weeks so everyone's results will be unique to them. Don't compare yourself to others! Even if you both are the same weight with the same goals in mind, don't compare...you're two different people, right?

              And remember....any weight loss is a great weight loss because it's gone gone gone!

                Yes, I do realize I should be happy with any loss. Not comparing myself but I did not even loose 5%. Just feel very discouraged because I have a specific goal and time frame..and I thought I really followed all the guidelines and the acceptable foods list.

                  One of our mods didnt lose anything at all during the first 2 weeks of induction, but eventually got to goal.

                  I do hope that gives you a glimmer of hope?

                  But I do feel for you.

                    yep, I exercised everyday for about 30 minutes. I didnt go to the gym, I just worked out at home. I'll start going to the gym this weekend

                      WOW! That is awesome! Keep up the good work! I am gonna try that these next two weeks..exercise at least 5days out of the week and then hopefully I'll be jumping for joy too!

                              UMMMM...and NO CHEATING EVER!!!!! I read your other thread, and you can't expect to lose weight when you take weekends off. It defeats the entire purpose! Kinda like letting an alcoholic drink on the weekends, then letting themselves be considered 'a recovering alcoholic'. LOL! Yeah, like recovering every monday? LMAO! YOU BE A GOOD GIRL!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

                              BeattheBuldge- I was reaaallly hoping that you were going to get the same results as my husband, but I didn't want to say that just in case it didn't happen. I know you were so nervous. I am SOO HAPPY for you! When you see results like that, it gives you great incentive. Even though I am not losing on the scale, watching my husband lose the weight lets me know things are going good, and I am feeding us correctly <we eat the same stuff because I fix it>. YAAAYYY!!
