    Hello!

    I have cheated on induction a couple times (still have lost about 9 lbs though from the time being on the diet and working out) anyways.. I am starting again on friday... and i went and actualy bought the groceries so i can eat at home let me tell you what I got

    Hot dogs, Eggs, Bacon, Hamburger, Frozen Chicken Breasts, low carb rague alfredo sauce, and 0 carb ceaser salad dressing.

    Any of that sound like it might be bad for atkins?

    I am also running 30 minutes each day on a elliptical machine and working with weights for about 20 minutes..

    Is this good?

    Will i see results?

    any other good low card or no carb sauces?

    Hi there! Congrats on the 9 pounds. The only thing I see that may not be great is the hot dogs. Did you get any veggies?

      since you ask first lets talk about what you didn't get. where are your veggies? 3 cuops a day from the acceptable veggie lists are mandatory part of Atkins.

      next check the label on your frozen chicken. many companies add sugar solutions to make them moister and tastier if yours got it you can't eat them.
      Check the hotdogs for fillers and carbs

      low carb rague alfredo sauce check the ingredients and see if they are all legal for induction which is your first 14 days of the plan. you can have it in OWL on the rungs for the ingredients that were not induction acceptable should any of the ingredients not be.

      Your exercise plan looks good.

      if you don't already have one get a copy of DR ATKINS NEW DIET REVOLUTION 2002 edition. it is the best $7 you will ever invest in yourself.

        Uhm... the hotdogs have no carbs.. and fillers? what are those?

        the chicken has no sugar.. and im not eating any veggies.. do i have 2?

          yep you do! read your DADNR veggies are very important they have fiber and micronutriants we all need plus there are some body parts that do need carbs like red blood cells. Plus they are the foundation on which you are building your lifelong way of eating so you can keep the pounds off when you get to goal.

          Technically id you eat no veggies since according to Dr Atkins the majority of your carbs must come from them you can't have eggs, spices, cheese, that alphredo sauce you just bought cause they all have carbs to some extent.

            Uh-Oh!
            Go away and read the book man!
            If you don't read the book and know what you should be doing, chances are you won't succeed cos you probably actually won't be on plan at all.
            You'll be doing what you THINK the plan is.
