Wow...I can't believe that I've made it to day 14 of induction and it wasn't even that hard. In fact, after the first few days, it was downright easy.
I won't be going far because I'm going to stay on induction for another week and then probably go to rung one of owl and sit for awhile there.
You know, I was really skeptical at first...up until two years ago, I never had to worry about my weight at all. I ate what I wanted, it didn't matter if I excercised or not, I always stayed at a steady 135. So, when the pounds started packing on, I didn't know what to do or how to do it. I had never taught myself any self control because I didn't feel like I needed to.
But this has been amazing. I'm almost glad that I've gotten myself in a position where I need to lose weight, because even though I used to stay thin, the way I was eating wasn't healthy for me in the long run. Over the past two weeks, I've started to learn to make healthy choices and I've found a way to eat that I can live with for the rest of my life.
I don't know what has happened on the scale since I haven't stepped foot on it since my first day of induction. But, to be honest, I don't really care. I followed the rules, I feel great, my clothes are getting looser, I'm excercising regularly, and I have more energy than I've had in years.
Thanks everyone who has given my support over the past few weeks. I'm so glad I found this board and I'm looking forward to the rest of my journey.
