Re: Help: Worried after 2 Days!
Update: I'm doing very well. I'm fighting the urge to weigh, but my ketostix reading is deep purple. If my efforts are reflected on the scale when I weigh on Saturday (can't wait any longer, guys) then I will be estatic.
Now a question: Now that I've really reached ketosis, what should I expect in terms of actual weight loss? I have to admit that I've used about half the box of keostix I bought Saturday afternoon in a effort to track my progress. I pee on that little strip twice a day and while I know that's probably excessive, the positive reinforcement keeps me on track.
Today, I went to lunch at this family diner near where I work. I love breakfast anytime of day and usually get coffee, a Denver omelet, hashbrowns, and my favorite, PANCAKES. Today, I had a spinach bacon and monterey cheese omelet and a couple sausage links. No coffee, hashbrows, or pancakes. I have to admit I'm very proud of myself. I really hope to lose a few pounds by Saturday.
This lifestyle isn't half bad so far!
