maybe not that particular site, but certinaly the things on ebay are misleading. and also, some other things that came up on a google seacrh. maybe i shouldn't feel obligated ot defend them (although i am an employee of JnJ), but Splenda has taken so much **** in the last 24 months in the form of bad press, lawsuits, and a counter-marketing blitz from the makers of Equal and the aspartame insudtry in general. and apparently, it's a sore spot that McNeil does not make a liquid form of Splenda to some that use it exclusively.

I just read about stevia today in a new low carb cookbook I picked up. Sounds interesting. I might have to try it out however I don't really even use Splenda but they use it alot to cook with in this book.

The person I found selling liquid sucralose on ebay does have a good description of the product and does not proclaim it to be liquid splenda. I would guess the word "splenda" appears in the haeding just so we can find it while searching.

If you know anyone that has some, it's a good idea to try it first. It's bitter to alot of people, different people taste it different ways, like soy. If you do buy it start with a small bottle/package..i know here it can be very expensive.

In the summer I grew stevia in my garden and made my own stevia syrup..it worked quite well actually! though it was very green (you boil the leaves), so it wasn't good for cooking with as it would colour your food.

Sometimes I'll put a tiny bit (like 1/8 tsp.) maple extract in the flax seed meal/borage oil snack I have before heading to the gym, or a drop of no-alcohol Stevia. Really helps the taste.
