I do realise that I can't go by what the scale says every few hours or even every day, but last night I got on the scale and could have cried when I saw I was up to 216 (today is day 5 for me and I started at 214). And although I'm really not one of those scale "junkies" this morning when I woke up I decided to hop back on and take another look...this time 207! And I even woke up with my monthly "friend" (sorry if that's TMI). Does anyone else ever experience such an extreme weight fluctuation overnight like this?...I didn't even have one of those whooshie pies everyone talks about!
I'm happy for what I saw this morning, but I'm going to wait until my full first 2 weeks are up to weigh myself again...then I'll change my stats accordingly

Sooo.....
...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..."
When I was "off the wagon" and eating junk it often took until after TOM left for the water weight to leave...I'm tracking it again this time to see what happens just because I am curious...all of this is to say, what you eat, your monthly cycle and when you weigh all play into these fluctuations. If you weigh, then drink a 16 oz bottle of water and jump right back on the scale, I promise you will see that pound of water on the scale - but you didn't "gain weight"
Good plan to just weigh again at the end of induction. That number is the one you will need to plan the rest of your Atkins! Have a great day!
