  • Day 7!

At last, I completed one week of induction. I won't lie and say it was a piece of cake. It was hard, but now, after completing a week, I am feeling much better, both physically and mentally. I have much more energy to run around my daughter. simple tasks that used to be very taxing are getting simple again..I climb stairs without huffing and puffing.. my cravings are under control, and I am eating smaller portions of food in general..
I still have the occasional craving for a hot cuppa coffee with milk and sugar..but I can survive without it ( decaf with cream and splenda doesn't simply work for me..It doesn't taste as good as the real thing!)
for the first time, my skin looks younger and clearer.. My face looks less puffy and I AM VERY HAPPY.
I haven't weighed myself yet. Tomorrow is my weighing day, and I will keep everyone posted...

YES! I really noticed how the puffiness went away AND I sure noticed when I fell off plan the following morning. My face tends to get swollen especially around the eyes if I eat non-legal foods. Wierd, but another motivator to not eat carbage. Another sign that my body doesn't process carbohydrates well.

            Re: Day 7!

I am on day 11 of induction and I am thrilled with the state of my being!!! I feel better, calmer, and more energized. I suffer from very bad PMS. My doctor gave me prescription meds, but I have never taken them; I despise pills!

Well this week would typically be my PMS week, and I have to say I am very happy with the lack of symptoms I have. I still have the headache and a small amount of bloating, but that is it so far. I am so, so happy with this result! Keep the faith Sunshine! You are doing great! Who knows what benefits will present themselves to us when we start OWL?!?!?!?
