Well, I've been enjoying a new found veggie for a week or so. I had Parsnips as a kid and never liked them but I've been frying them in butter and they are so good. So imagine my surprise when I happen to glance at the food list (for the hundreth time) and didn't see parsnips on the list!! That was a major "oops" moment. It hasn't really seemed to hinder my weight loss any but I just won't enjoy those anymore. I just wanted to share this with you guys. I don't need the Atkins police to come out of hiding to slap me on the wrist (I already did that

Re: I'm an idiot
Don't worry yma. Thats something everyone does at one point or another. Its key to read the induction friendly list, but everyone stumbles across something that they dont think about.
I did the same with a cereal. The rules in the book are that fibre should be subtracted from carbs. What I didnt know is that that is just in the USA. In England, where I am, the fibre on the nutritional panel on the side of food packaging has already been subtracted!!!!!!!!!
As I said, don't panic unduly, just learn from your mistake.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!
I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

RichT is right
We all make mistakes to start with.
I thought butternut squash was OK for induction till I checked!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
