    Well, I've been enjoying a new found veggie for a week or so. I had Parsnips as a kid and never liked them but I've been frying them in butter and they are so good. So imagine my surprise when I happen to glance at the food list (for the hundreth time) and didn't see parsnips on the list!! That was a major "oops" moment. It hasn't really seemed to hinder my weight loss any but I just won't enjoy those anymore. I just wanted to share this with you guys. I don't need the Atkins police to come out of hiding to slap me on the wrist (I already did that )

    Don't worry yma. Thats something everyone does at one point or another. Its key to read the induction friendly list, but everyone stumbles across something that they dont think about.

    I did the same with a cereal. The rules in the book are that fibre should be subtracted from carbs. What I didnt know is that that is just in the USA. In England, where I am, the fibre on the nutritional panel on the side of food packaging has already been subtracted!!!!!!!!!

    As I said, don't panic unduly, just learn from your mistake.

    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      RichT is right We all make mistakes to start with.

      I thought butternut squash was OK for induction till I checked!
      Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
