Definately makes it more confusing. The problem is that a "cup" is a measurment of volume, while a gram is a measure of mass. SO depending on the density of the food in the cup the number of grams will vary. What you need is a good cup to gram (or gram to cup?) converter for the foods you want.

      Hi CJ
I have just replied to your pm with some info but it is probably repeating what all our other members have said here!

In case anyone is having problems finding the post about the weight of one cup of different veggies here is the link to it
      http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ad.php?t=41620

As has been said, we need to get 'more than half' of our maximum 20 net carbs from our veggies, so try to choose varieties that are fairly carb-heavy rather than lettuce.

One good website to track your intake is www.fitday.com where you can open a free 'account' and log all your food. It works out the carbs for you and will accept weights as well as cups so can be used by people both sides of the pond quite easily after you get used to its idiosyncracies.

A benefit is that you can open it up by making it 'public' and posting the link here so others can view your menus and advise you.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
