    Hey Debi! Yep today is day one for me! I overslept due to the going away party I had last night for my carbs! LOL! Had to run out the door to an appt. without eating and boy was my tummy growling but I waited until I got home and made two eggs fried in butter with bacon---YUMMY! Making the tuna muffins for my "lunch". I'm gonna hit the treadmill later on today. And remember SOMETHING is better than NOTHING! Even a brisk 10 minute walk after dinner is better than not doing any exercise today. YOU CAN DO IT!

      Exactly we're all in the same "induction boat"! LOL! Good luck to you and everyone else starting (or re-starting) induction today! Remember this is the start to a new WOE/WOL and we can ALL do this!

        Sounds good! I've got string cheese, hard boiled eggs, pork rinds, celery stuffed with chicken salad and some chicken legs all packed up in the frigde for snacks and/or meals! Good on taking the L-Glutamine. I really need my vits and supps too but just a little tight on cash until payday Thursday so these next three days I won't be taking anything.

        It's gloomy out today so I'm just watching "Inside The Actor's Studio" on of my favy shows, checking out and then it's off to do dishes and laundry. After that hitting the treadmill for my exercise today. I'm so glad we have this thread to support each other! How's everyone else's day 1 going so far?

              Anyway I made the tuna patties instead of the tuna muffins today and OH-MY-GOD they were DELISH!!!!!!!! YUMM-O! I forgot how great eating was on this WOL! My first day is going well except I'm getting a headache and wondering if this is the detox headache I've heard about. Tomorrow will be a bit more of a challenge because I have improv class tomorrow and then a table read for this indie short I'm in. I figure I'll have a nice breakfast before I go to class, bring a tuna patty and a cheese stick to class for break, then go home have my leftover chicken broccoli for lunch. Then I have to leave by 7pm for the table read, I'm gonna have to eat dinner by 6pm. Maybe I'll switch up my meals and have my steak for breakfast instead of dinner. I'll bring a small snack size bag of pork rinds to the table read in case they have munchies for everyone I won't feel left out and bring my own bottled water. Failing to plan, if planning to fail! I WON'T FAIL! Hope you all had a great day 1 induction. Check in tomorrow and update how it went!

                Kellyterry, is your sister here at too? Kudos to her on losing 34lbs in 3 months that's AWESOME! Did she give you any meal ideas or tips?

                  So far so good...made it to dinner without cheating..even though I had serious kitkat cravings...but then I said to myself "self..if you don't start now, then when"? So I backed away and started cleaning stuff. Hope everyone had a great first day!

                    Gotta try those tuna muffins. They sound yummy!
                    One clean day down.....more than my share of 'moments' today, but I stayed strong. Dinner ended up being a big chef salad with ranch dressing from Jason's Deli. Very good and filling....I love that I can eat the full fat stuff again.

                      Good job on averting the kit kats! They're my weakness too, well along with reeses cups, m&m's, snickers...I better shut up now. I'm gonna by the L-glutamine for the sweet cravings. I'm not buying any Halloween candy this year. No one comes to our place anyway but I still buy it so DH and DS and I can eat it! But this year they're gonna have to get they're own candy, I am no longer their dealer! LOL! For Halloween we're gonna watch scary movies and I'm gonna make sure I have plenty of lc snacks around so i'm not even tempted to dip into theirs! I was think things like cheese and sausage, pork rinds and guacamole, cheese chips. I'm gonna make the low carb pizza with the cream cheese crust too because they want to order pizza. Then I can have "my own atkins" pizza! Okay I better stop talking about food because I don't want to get anyone hungry! LOLOL!

                          I had a great Day 1 Induction. I ate more food than I originally put on my menu, but it was all induction food and I kept my percentages accurate and my carbs under 20. Yay!

                          I had major carb cravings. I can't wait for those feelings to diminish. However, I did not walk yesterday. Gotta work on getting that into the routine.


                          It is nice seeing a picture where I actually have a neck!

                            @ FatActressInLA- Yeah i have to find some L.C. recipes..i'm thinking about sweet snacks now..lol. Oh why Oh why won't Halloween go away..lol. It's usually when they all have that chocolate on sale...I won't give in... I won't give in...

                              I'm joining too.. Started on the 15th and lost 2.5lbs just yesterday.. I know its water weight but I don't care its weight!!

                                I've actually lost 4, which I'm still thrilled about. I made the mistake of moving my scale to another area (my husband was about to get into the shower and I didn't feel like waiting [or is that weighting?] ). So, I guess a golden rule is the always keep the scale in the same place when you weigh yourself and, I've heard, do so about the same time a day.

                                I still have an occasional lust for sugar, but I'm so determined to do this that, thus far, I haven't given in. A glass of water and eating something salty seems to help a bit.

                                I'm exercising about 1/2 hour, two times a day and will increase that as I get myself in better shape.

                                So far, so good.
