    Re: Diet Soda

It more then likely is the culprit. I used to looove me some Diet Dr Pepper. but that darn aspartame. I just drink water now with an occasional Diet Rite,I have to say that water is my favorite now. You will get that way too!

        Re: Diet Soda

I feel your pain, up until I started last week, I drank 4-8 cans a day and on a few occassions more. While I haven't had anything other than water or decaf tea since I started I do believe Waist Watcher Sodas are carb free , caffeine free, aspartame free and sodium free, they use splenda for the sweetner. I may try them down the road, but now I maybe to tempted so I am avoiding them all together.

        Good Luck.

          Re: Diet Soda

I don't think I'm addicted to diet sodas, they were more of a weekend treat. I am almost done with induction and only drank two cans of diet soda in two weeks and that's because I was faced with 25 bags of assorted candy bars all over the work place and treating myself to a nice cold diet cherry vanilla dr. pepper instead. It sure helped with the "sweet" thing I needed while I passed on the temptation of all those candy bars! I drink water 90% of the time and save diet soda for when I eat out or for a special occassion.

To help with your water try using a big straw...helps me get stupid amounts
