I have a question... when I decided to try atkins (again) I had just finished my last "good" meal of spagetti & meatballs with bread dripping in butter (yummy)
and after my husband and I finished and we sat our big butts on the couch we looked at eachother and said "we've got to stop this madness!" and so we made the decision to start right away. What we then did was take our weight and we took our measurements and wrote them down on a piece of paper (this was in the evening). One week into induction (today) I weighed myself again but this time I weighed in the morning before eating and I was down nine pounds.
My question is ... is this legit weight loss or can a person's weight fluctuate that much in one week. I guess I should've weighed myself the following morning when I started rather than the night before. People weigh more at night than in the morning huh? I'm sorry y'all, it's a stupid question I know, and I feel like I'm sort of "cheating". Haven't checked the measurements again yet. I find it easier to stay away from the tape measure than the scale! Hubby has lost 10 lbs.!
I know people say not to weigh every day/week or whatever but when I do stall in my weight loss, it'll just make me work harder. The numbers on the scale won't make me give up, just more determined!
