Hello everyone. I am new to this board so will have plenty of questions Im sure so I thank you all in advance for any help you may give...
I just started Atkins (again for the second time, did it about 2 yrs ago and lost 40 lbs in 4 months)
This time I started exactly 2 weeks ago today, and this morning my scales read 220, down from the 235 I was 2 weeks ago. Is that about the average loss in 2 weeks? I have to admit I go a little crazy with everything I do. I di not eat the recommended 20 carbs a day, but keep it under 5 instead, and i do not do induction for only 2 weeks, I do it for about 3 months. I guess thats the "need ot see immediate and quick success" side of me.
I have not started exercising yet even though I just bought a new Eliptical machine. I want to wait a month or so until the weight loss slows down a little bit, and then I will start to speed up the loss faster.
My start weight was 235 like I said, and I will/want to be down to 190 by end of June.
I wish I knew about this site the first time I did it a few yrs ago. You are all great and very supportive. Very best wishes to all of you on your goals. It is great to have a place to to read others successes and share recipes/ideas etc...
