When entering the eggs part of it into Fitday.com, I could not find a category for omelete minus the fat. I made an omelete with just mozzarella cheese and did not add any fat for the pan.

Any suggestions what I can classify this as?

    Thanks.

    Re: Fitday.com

When entering Food items on FitDay there is a section called ADD CUSTOM-(NEW CUSTOM FOOD). Click on GO! This allows you to enter what you want--you add the ingredients and nutritional info. Sometimes, it takes a little work, but it keeps great track of your foods.

I saw that, but an omelete would be equivalent to eggs.

In the egg part of it does not state "omelete" only other versions, but not that.

I usually just add the raw eggs plus any other ingredients like cheese etc, as fitday always assume you are adding milk and cooking with margarine!! I tend to cook my eggs in butter as I love the taste.

          Re: Fitday.com

If the omelet is not something you are going to make in exactly the same way many times, I find it easier to just add the ingredients I used (raw eggs, mozzarella, butter) to my daily food log. I use custom foods for things that have many ingredients and multiple servings and foods where the nutritional label on the package differs significantly from Fitday's choices.

Thank you for your replies that's what I was doing entering my ingredients separately.
