I was reminded yesterday that we are having guests for dinner today :yikes and I am completely unprepared!
House needs cleaning and I have to whip something together for dinner.

I'm going to keep it simple and make a lasagne with slices of zucchini for noodles. I like to slice them into rounds with my grater and lay them out like that rather than try for the long slices..that's just too much trouble.
I might look for a little loaf of bread for bf and the guests, and I'll probably make a salad on the side. We've got some antipasta that we were given for Christmas, so they'll eat that up as well.
No dessert, but they aren't big dessert people.

Roasted chicken and broccoli and cheese. Will probably throw in a baked sweet potato for the rest of the family.

Yummy ground beef and cabbage. this is really good serrved with a dollop of sour cream if you can afford it (meaning not used up your cream allowance)

This is a family favorite, kids too.
