  • End of the first week

Well, its the end of my first week and it wasnt so good honestly. First of all years ago when I was on atkins, I was able to have diet soda sweetened with splenda and it didnt cause me any stalls at all. So, I thought, ok, just like 1 can a day for a break from all the water I should be ok. And then there was yesterday. I had a totally HORRIBLE weekend and in a moment of weekness I had a bit of chocolate which made me sick. Not to mention I woke up this morning with a killer headache that won't go away!

So, this morning I had my hubby take the last of my diet soda out of the house and told him if the kids were going to have any "treats" that were going to tempt me in a time of weakness to please only get them for them during the week while I am at work all day.

So, all that being said, I am starting this morning with a clean slat and no cheats! So should I consider myself restarting induction or just keep on going? I did lose 3 lbs! But I had accomplished that goal 2 days into induction, I had weighed myself just to see.

I also cheated this weekend I was so mad at myself! but I decided to see it as a lesson learned and just kept right on with induction. As long as you don't give up you will be fine. I like telling myself this quote"If it's to be it's up to me" so good luck!

Just keep on going. There will probably be other things you'll learn the hard way. I know that is how it works with me.
If it is to be, it is up to me! I like that!

Pick yourself up and dust off. You stumbled and fell, now get up and keep going. God Bless, Joe

Clara, I've noticed that I cannot have Splenda due to getting headaches from it. Good for you for getting back on the wagon and staying this time! I would restart induction for another 14 days. You always want to go into this lifestyle with a clean induction. It makes all the difference.
