    Re: who's starting induction today?

So far so good, the last few days have brought me down a few lbs, but it's hard to tell as the time of the month is one where I usually feel a bit fat anyway (if you know what I mean). When I jumped on the scale this morning I had lost 5 lbs, but we'll see what happens as we continue the journey!

thanks for the recipe. I'm totally not a baker so please tell me what a fold is? lol have no idea how to fold one mixture into another? Is it just a bakers lingo for pour?
Cleocathra a low carber with a blog accidentally came up with a variation of the revolution rolls that she called oopsie rolls. They are quite good. I have made them a few times.

She has a very detailed description of how to make them here

Good Morning everyone! So how are you guys doing on your induction so far? What days are you on? I'm on day 4 and feeling okay. I can't wait for TOM to be gone so I can feel a difference because right now I don't with all the bloatedness. But I did workout for 80 minutes last night and burned 125 carbs and 800 calories on the treadmill. Tonight I'm going to a party and I know I'm going to want a drink more than food but i am dedicated! I will not do it. I keep telling myself this all day and I know I won't but i'll keep you guys updated just so I can be held accountable and I'm telling you I definaitely won't i feel so confident this time around that I will make it through the induction for the first time ever!

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Good Morning everyone! How's your induction coming along? With the weekend at an end did you all stick it through? I last told you that I was going to a party and I was very nervous that I woulnt be able to turn down a drink because I am a social drinker and feel the need to have at least one to loosen up because I'm a bit shy in large groups. but guess what? I didn't give in. Even after a few of us went to have abite to eat and I had steak and eggs and checked my ketines for the first time yesterday morning and it showed trace. I am so proud of myself. I am on Day 7 and have been clean all along. We can do it. Let's get through this induction together. post your menus here for today. Thanks everyone and good luck!

re-starting induction today .. i had a bit of a slip up yesterday (ruffles chips about 2 hand fulls) and not enough water... going to start with couple of scrambled eggs and a chicken breast w/ salad for lunch.. sundays seem to be hard for me as the whole family is here for lunch after church.. i will have to plan better for myself in the future !

WOW! A big congratulations to everyone of you who had that strong will power over the weekend!! I know first hand how hard the weekends can be with family coming around not to mention being at home where the food is generally kept, but I too had a GUILT FREE weekend.

The biggest problem for me has been drinking water, but I think I have it down finally. When my temptation starts to haunt me, and I am craving that cookie or that piece of chocolate cake I just have to ask myself which is more important the food or being fit and healthy.

My wedding is in 76 days, and I really want to drop another 35 pounds by that time. I am sure with the help and support of one another we can all reach our goals together. Have a great day everyone.

Yeah it can be hard. The weekends are always my hardest times bacuase I'm either out and want to eat cuZ I'm in the moment w friends or I am home and bored so I want to much and have so much time on my hands to think of food! But I'm happy. I think by the end of this week my cravings should be entirely gone. Day 9 is always my roughest because I start to see the results by then and I start to feel like rewardinh myself which leads to endulging and i fall off but I keep telling myself no I wont this time. I will do it right.

                                Re: who's starting induction today?

The weekend was the hardest for me. I spent it with my "eat anything and still be skinny" friends and they just did NOT get it! "Why are you getting that salad with meat? Why not dessert? Oh so NOW you want a chicken kebab... you didn't eat enough and now you are binging!"

I had to take the time to explain that I planned the smaller, more frequent meals and it was not a mistake that I didn't get 'low-fat' dressing, it is actually a part of my WOE. They just looked at me with a blank stare.

That's ok though because I lost 5 pounds this week! I went from 150.0 to 145.0 exactly this morning. I'm sure a lot of it is water weight, but if I stick with this, my fat is going to drip right off. I already need new clothes, they are LITERALLY falling off.

I've been trying to dip below 150 for a whole year now! I've tried low-fat diets, to low cal diets, dang near starvation. This is the only thing that really really works! Always satisfied and the scale and my inches are moving. (Yup I measured and I'm might pleased! Talk about 25 inch waist!). I hope to get under 135 soon which is my first major goal. For reaching 145, I'm getting my teeth whitened. 140= shopping spree and 135= getting a nasty scar of mine surgically removed.

I'M SOOO EXCITED IF YOU CAN'T ALREADY TELL!!!
