  • I walked one Mile! I can't belive it

    Hi Everyone! :wave

I appreciate everyones advice about "Walking Away The pounds" So, to make a long story short I went out and bought the two DVD program with level 1- 3 workouts.

My plan was to start tomorrow because lifting the DVD to the counter had me hyperventilating it was so exhausting...that's the kind of shape I'm in!

But, even though the set I bought didn't come with the "weighted Balls" JuJu is so enthralled with <smile> I figured I have Balls of my own.

Two glass paper weights about 2 pounds each..why what were you thinking? I'm talking about paper weights here!

Anyway...believe it or not I walked a mile!....a MILE... :joy can't believe it, and I feel great. And relived I don't have to have this chair surgically removed from my butt anymore.

So thank all of you for the support!

    Peter :icondance

That is so awesome - good for you! I bet you'll sleep great tonight. I've never been much of an exerciser and I get out of breath in no time so I know how you feel. I would love to be able to hike up some of the beautiful mountains this summer here in Washington without feeling like I'm going to pass out.

      Your on your way! ha

The vision of you walking with glass paper weights is so amusing! Way to go on the walking!

yea I love that program. I used 5 pd weights, thought I was going to die, but I like how she says you don't have to lift them, you can just hold them. But I did as many as I could. It feels great doesn't it?
