That's wonderful. I'm so proud of you.
That's how I started running - a bit at a time (326 metres - jog; walk a lap; jog a lap, etc.). I still haven't gone further than 2800 m to 3000 m on pavement because of the weather, but I am doing it also on the elliptical machine (when I can).

Thank you for the incentive - I'll have to get off my butt, as well.

By the way - your art work is fascinating.

      Hi Cmcole, :wave

Thank you so much for the kind words. It sounds like your doing great, I think incentive is everything...well at least 90% of it anyway.

Funny, if we used the time we spend feeling guilty or coming up with excuses not to exercise what great shape we would all be in!

As for the artwork thank you!

I collect 8 x 10 of movie stars, mostly from the 30's and 40's some are original and signed, some are reprints from the actual negative. the pop art you see in the background is by a Chicago artist named eSqui, I think he's brilliant we have four of his pieces, a scene from whatever happened to baby jane, The Wizard of Oz, Audry Hepburn and the Interview with the vampire you can see behind me.

BTW, Congrats on your weight loss that's wonderful!!

Well, Peter, I took up your challenge.
Yesterday, it was such a lovely day, and the snow/ice was about 80% gone off the sidewalks, that I walked the dogs briskly for 2.5 km and ran back - it felt great!!

Today is another story. Woke up to snow!! And it continues heavily as I write this - they'll be no running outside today, I'm guessing. Driving is going to be difficult enough.
