    Re: mock danish on induction

A packet equals 2 teaspoons of sugar.

To be honest, I skipped the Splenda and they tasted just fine. In one batch I substituted garlic powder and was loving them that way.

Yeah, it really depends on whether you are looking for a sweeter roll or to use it for something else. In my method with the pumpkin pie spice and a couple drops of Sweetzfree, they come out semi-sweet and very delicious. But to use as buns, whatever I would do it differently.

I'm going to make hamburgers this weekend with them. I think I'll skip the splenda or put just 1 tsp in and some garlic/onion powder...

I never put sweetener in them so they can be used for either a sweet or savoury dish.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

            YUM!!!! YUM!!!! YUM!!!!

I made the rolls last night.... For breakfast this morning I had sausage and egg on it and for lunch I'm going to have a tuna sandwich with them. I put dill in the for the purposes of the tuna sandwich... The dill didn't really match the breakfast I had, but I know will be very good with my lunch! So it's only 1/2 a tbs per roll 1tbsp per sandwich of the cheese so that's .4 carbs for the cream cheese and 1 for the splenda (I accidentally put 3 tsp in so 1/2 per roll 1 per sandwich) So I'm gonna say 1 carb per roll (2 per sandwich?)

            Does that sound right?

              Sounds about right to me!

I experimented and made some rolls (using mayo in place of the cream cheese) yesterday but made them in small 'loaf tin' shapes.
They looked terrific when taken out of the oven

but like the rev rolls they did sink when they cooled.

I am going to use them for traditional shaped sandwiches tomorrow.

YUMMY I am eating my tuna "sandwich" right now. The dill in the rolls gives it just the right kick for the tuna sammich! I would never know this wasn't bread as long as I'm eating it like this... If I take a bite by itself maybe, but that's because I didn't sweeten it or anything so it tastes more like egg. I think I'll try some with vanilla and cinnamon this weekend when I make my husband his Saturday french toast!
