  • I've made the best discovery!

    Last night i went to the store and bought pork rinds with nothing on them but salt. I don't really like the taste of them by themselves but figured i would try them in my meals. I made some cinnamon twists by putting them in a baggie with some cinnamon and splenda. They were actually very good. But the best discovery was combining them with salmon. I minced up the salmon, put a little bit of egg in, and crushed up the rinds until they were like bread crumbs. I mashed it all together and formed it into a patty and stuck it on a skillet with some oil. The outside was so crunchy and the inside perfectly cooked. It tasted just like a salmon patty that you buy at the store. I made my own tartar sauce for the top of it. Give it a try. Its delicious!:d

    omg! i just tried that last night. i found a recipe somewhere that used pork rinds and it came out really good!

      That sounds fantastic - I used to make salmon patties all the time - I'm going to try these with the pork rinds!

          Great use of pork rinds

            I love making salmon patties with pork rinds! mmmm makes me want some now...lol
            but I'm weird (before)Atkin's I used to dip them in ketchup lol
