    Please don't forget your 2-3 cups of acceptable veggies. They are so important for so many reasons. Remember, this woe isn't no carb, it's low carb.

      The reason we eat three meals a day and snacks, if necessary, is to stabilize our blood sugar which is necessary for optimal weight loss. And the veggies are necessary, too. You need nutrients and you need some healthy carbs and just sticking with fat and protein isn't going to cut it.

      Sometimes when I post on the board, it leaves me feeling empty. Dr. Atkins wrote a blue-print on how to lose weight in a healthy way and those who follow it as written (DANDR) do seem to lose weight and those who take short cuts or don't want veggies or can't give up sweets, etc., wind up not losing. I don't know specifically who I owe my own success to here on the board ... I know there were many people who told me to read DANDR, stick with DANDR and don't deviate ... I did and I'm losing.

      I wish you well. I hear the frustration in your posts. Unfortunately there is no magic bullet.
