    Thanks
No - they are fine, and dont have as many carbs as the packets and granulated splenda.

Pure sucralose (which is what splenda is made from) is far too sweet to use on its own, as a pinch of it is about as sweet as a few spoons of sugar, so it is always bulked up for home use.

They have added maltodextrin (I think) to bulk them up so the packets are the equivalent of a spoonful of sugar and the spoonable splenda for baking has the same sweetness per spoon as a spoonful of sugar to help in following recipes.

Some people crush the tablets and use them in baking instead of the packet splenda to cut down on carbs. We still count the servings as one per packet or per tablet though.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

I want to run right out and buy something to sweeten my morning cuppa with that won't ruin my hard work. Saccharine?

Saccharine is one of the suggested sweeteners on the list - so go ahead!

        Artificial Sweeteners
You must determine which artificial sweeteners agree with you, but the following are allowed: sucralose (marketed at Splenda®), saccharin, cyclamate, acesulfame-K. Natural sweeteners ending in the suffix "-ose," such as maltose, fructose, etc., should be avoided. However, certain sugar alcohols such as maltitol do not affect blood sugar and are acceptable.
