wow...learned my lesson!!!

  • wow...learned my lesson!!!

    Ok - so today is the start of week 2 on Induction and I decided I am not drinking any of the seltzer water that I drank last week, since I found out seltzer is NOT "legal"...

    Well - while I was cooking breakfast this morning - and had already taken a few bites of breakfast - I got my water bottle out and saw that I had some of those green tea packets which are 0 calorie and SUGAR FREE...the box says NO carbs (in fact, it says there's NOTHING according to the nutritional information on the box)...

    So I put the flavor packet in my bottle, mixed it up - and took my multi-vitamin with it - and seriously - not even 2 minutes later, while waiting on my bacon to cook...yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah - everything I'd just eaten and drank - I got to see again! (as in it came right back up)

    It sucked!! But I'm wondering if that packet lied and there IS something in there (sugar wise) cuz man - my body just said "nooooooo don't do this to me!!!!"

    So I learned my lesson this morning. Definitely stick to JUST PLAIN WATER from now on.

    You can ask why I thought I'd use that flavor packet, and again - it SAYS there's NOTHING in it (no calories, no sugar, no carbs, no sodium, NOTHING). But yup. learned that lesson and quick.

    Nothing is better than plain water and we need tons of it especially when low carbing because it helps our kidneys with the ketones. So drink, drink, and drink.

    That is strange that reaction. It did not agree with your vitamin or something?

    Here is to lessons learned. I found there were quite a few of those for me when I started and I still run into them
    It is wonderful that we can share them here and learn from each other.

      Yeah, i'm not sure if it WAS the mixture of the packet AND the vitamin or what - but ooooh it was not pretty.

      I took my vitamin yesterday (with the seltzer, that i've given up) and had no issue...

      I take the women's one-a-day active mind and body (although yesterday was the first time i started these vitamins) - but I had NO issue like this yesterday.

      But yeah - again - lessons learned!

          i hope not!!!! (don't scare me! lol) seriously - i don't think i am (although it's always a possibility that my bc pill fails me) but yeah - I really don't think that's it.
