  • **BREAKING WATP NEWS**

    Hi Folks, :wave

About 10 days ago when I posted that I have been so sedentary, doing no exercise but walking to the fridge Dawn and a many of you recommended I buy WATP ...

To be honest? I thought yikes it'll be a Barbie doll clone hermetically sealed in spandex skipping around to awful music - boy was I wrong.

Every day I've been doing the one mile workout with "my weighted balls"...those are weights btw...Well, actually I use 3 pound dumbbells because I couldn't find a pair of Leslies Balls anywhere! there wasn't a pair of balls to be found in target or anyplace else...so I figure the weights do the same thing.

Anyway as usual I digress, at first I could hardly get through the one mile and often had to stop to catch my breath..but it became easier and my screams of agony less ear piercing.

Now this morning, I decided it was time to try the two mile walk ~ moi? walking two miles? I don't think so But...in went the DVD

Well, after the Paramedics left, they stayed around for green tea with the medi-vac team that broke through my front door with an ax I just could not believe I had finished the work out! and felt GREAT!

If anyone out there is thinking about exersizing I can't recommend WATP enough, but if that's not your style just pick something...choose anything that will get you moving!

You'll feel alive, energized and turn your body into fat burning machine in record time. Plus all the wonderful benefits and rewards of Atkins will embrace you sooner - remember, Dr. Atkins always said "Exercise is not an option"
All kidding aside, believe me if I can do this? so can you!

      Hi Peter,

I'm Teri and I've been around for a couple of weeks. This is a great board and i've especially enjoyed your posts.

WATP is wonderful! They also have the exercise belt with resistance bands. That works really well too. It comes with the walk away the abs program. It isn't bad for exercise, tho, right?
If i can help anyone in any way, let me know.
      Keep up the good work!

Perhaps you could check Pilates equipment.
I got a set of exercise balls that weigh about three pounds each, that were labelled for Pilates (and probably priced outrageously because of it)

            Hi Teriha!

Thanks a bunch for the encouragement! and kind words. I absolutely love WATP when I'm doing the workout I say hello to everybody..Leslie, Randy the whole crew! (not normal I know)

As for the waist band it sounds great and I know many of the folks here have one for their abs..my concern is even if they did make one my size it would snap off, fly across the room and take out a wall.

            Thanks for the great post!

                Good for you, Peter.

When the weather gets nicer, you can strap on some walking shoes and take an outdoors walk in addition to the tapes.

HA! not abnormal- wait till you try the 3 mile and start telling Leslie to shut up!

Well, keep it up. I think I'm out of the induction blues/flu stage and I'll start adding back exercise very soon- WATP will be where I start.

                  Good Luck!

Congrats Peter, I swear the first time you find yourself being active after a long period of inactivity is just the biggest buzz out there.

I'd be flipping leslie the bird myself, but anyway

I really enjoy Leslie Sansone's workouts. I just purchased the Walk and Kick and also the Walk and Jog. Love the Walk and Kick, but not quite ready for the Walk and Jog. I bought my DVD's from Amazon.com. Found they had the best price and availability. I also have the 1 mile, 2 mile, and 3 mile. Not too strenous and your sweat. Walk, walk, walk, nice, nice, nice. :joy
