    My own rule of thumb is that if they give me the 'bathroom effect' then the sugar alcohols in them are not being processed and therefore can be discounted but if I have no effects from eating them then I need to count every pesky carb from them
    Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

      The last 3 times I tried Atkins, I used the bars and did not lose weight AT ALL during induction. Induction is hard enough and not to see results is really a drag. Even this time, being true to the 2002 Induction rules, the first week I lost NOTHING. I am really struggling but do not want to give up.

        You never know - you might see a woosh next week
        Have you taken measurements? Sometimes we lose inches even if those pesky scales are not being nice to us

          I decided to try one out last week and my weight loss stopped for 3 days and went up by 800g (but I also ate bacon)..

          I am not sure what happened but I am not going to risk a gain like that again.

            My pants still fit tightly, the same way they did last week so I won't bother actually measuring myself-too depressing. I am now going to really lower the calories and force the 3 cups of veggies with virtually little dressing. I found one Walden Farms dressing at the market and will use a small amount of that and see if that helps...this NO pounds lost in 11 days makes me want to cry. I want so much to have this "lift" that I have to be at a plateau weight and it's just not happening!

              You also don't have much to lose cpb, so the weight will probably come off a lot slower.

                Do you use one of the food logging websites like www.fitday.com? Do you know what sort of ratios of fat/protein/carbs you are eating?
