i make a salad dressing using mayo and 1 carb ketchup. is this something i should go without?

Ketchup is not allowed on induction. Why not just find some that have less than 2 carbs per tablespoon? Much easier than "do it yourself" and legal!

If you are talking about Heinz One Carb Ketchup, that is allowed on induction. Its ingredients are: tomato concentrate made from red ripe tomatoes, distilled vinegar, salt, onion powder spice, sucralose (i.e. splenda), natural flavoring. If I were you, I would just keep my other sweetener below 3 servings a day, to account for the sucralose in ketchup.
