    Re: cheese

I usually look at the number of ounces in the block, then make little cuts along the side dividing it into that number of pieces, so when I cut it I have a guide

Maybe there's an easier way though.

    Goal 1: 165 reached 2/13/09
    Goal 2: 159
    Goal 3: 154 (normal BMI)
    Goal 4: 149
    Goal 5: 145
    Goal 6: 140

    Goal weight: 140???

I do what you describe or just visualize that the individual slices of cheese I have for snacks are 1oz each and try to get that amount.

With Smarie's suggestion, if the block is 16oz, make a mark at halfway. That's 8oz and 8oz. Then, half that for 4 and 4. Keep going and you'll have 1oz pieces.

        Re: cheese

When I started induction I used to divide my block of cheese into smaller pieces so I knew easily how much was in each piece. If the block was 8 ounces I would first halve it then half those again so I had 4 x 2 ounce chunks which I could wrap separately for instant portion control.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
