okay... i have been on this diet for over a week now, and i havent lost any weight. i am in the induction phase, and have stayed wayyyy under 20g of carbs a day... on average I eat about 6 to 8 grams of carbs a day. Nothing has changed... I feel better in my clothes, but no weight or inches have come off.... What am I missing????? Ive read Dr. Atkins' book and I thought that I was doing everything right.
Is it because Im "female" and its harder for a women to loose? WHAT?
I really want this to work for me. Does anyone have any advice?

Some people lose weight at first then have a week or so of no loss, others dont lose anything for a week or so at first. And some lose nothing in the first few weeks but get the other benefits of Atkins like feeling better in themselves moodwise or as regards aches and pains and only start to lose after a few weeks on Atkins.
