I feel so much better after having read this thread. Its my 11th day of induction today and I have lost absolutely no weight or inches.
Ketistix were turning purple , however after Georgiana's suggestion i increased my consumption of waiter. And she was right ! i was probably dehydrated. 'cos they no more turn purple.
The only hope i get after reading this thread is that I started my induction during my TOM. Will give another go at the induction and see.
In the meantime, can anyone post whether you finally had a weight lose or not.

I have gone 5 weeks in ketosis, lost 1lb finally this week, the good news is I lost some inches, woke up one morning and my rockies were loose at the waist and baggy in the hiney! It was a great feeling getting into size smaller jeans and skirts!
I'm about to face the TOM too, so I expect to be in the same boat as you were....keep hopeing and turning purple!

Again, you do not have to turn the ketostix purple in order to lose weight. As I have explained in another thread and as lowcarbs_wow discovered on her own, drinking more water affects the color on the ketostix. Similarly, exercise more and your weight loss results will improve, even though the ketostix might stop turning purple.
