  • Wow ... Met my first goal

I've lost enough pounds to reach my first goal. I feel good and am happy about my progress. There was plate of cookies in the office for the past 3 days and I didn't have one! Hubby eats candy and I'm not giving and joining him. I have been faithful with legal foods and it's paying off.

Taking the dog for walks is getting easier without the extra weight. It's also easier on my on my ankle (the one I fractured last June).

Next goal: 159lbs., longer walks, faster speeds in walking, no cheats on induction (2 weeks on next thursday)
My name is Barb ... and I'm a carboholic

    Minigoals
Goal#1: 169 and daily walks with the dog. Met
Goal#2: 159 and Schutzhund with the dog ... but not getting out of breath. Longer, faster paced walks with dog 3x/week. MET
    Goal#3: 150 , Hiking 3 times a week for a total of 15 or more miles, Bike 1-2 times a week.

        Great progress, Barb
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Thank's everyone. I'm so happy about this progress. My brain keeps trying to convince me it's OK to have "Just one little piece of bread" or "one bite of candy" .... but I'm staying strong and not cheating. The missing pounds are my prize for not cheating .... and proof of just how important that really is.
Oh, and I'm drinking more and more water too. Oddly enough .... I'm sorta, kinda starting to like it. Weird huh?
