Re: Exercise - How many of you do and how many don't?
Well everybody. I am plugging for all the wonderful exercise challenges we have here at ADBB. And we are getting people to sign up for the September ones now. So join in. They are great motivation

I have not intentionally exercised in my first 9 days of induction. I am a delivery driver so I am pretty active at work, but nothing more than the usual.
And I have lost 8 pounds in 8 full days. Today is the morning of day 9 for me.

I’m lazy beyond words. Gyms are not for me – one of my coworkers once thanked me for being “the member who never goes and makes it cheaper for the rest of us”. Right now all I’m doing is walking as much as I can. I add extra blocks on my way to the university, find longer routes to the laundromat, supermarket, post office; walk from Penn Station to the Metropolitan and back, and I also walk in the sand when I go to the beach. I’ll probably get a mountain bike by the end of the year and start training with a group of friends who do different rides to support non-profit organizations.

Re: Exercise - How many of you do and how many don't?
Also maybe someone mentioned it but you burn more fat when you arent exercising when you have muscle. I have sacriolitis and it is painful to exercise sometimes but i do heavy house work and am very active. Also doing atkins i have soo much more energy thay i do more. I do more in a day than a lot of people do in three days because i have so much energy. I seriously do not sit down all day. but the weight training i am getting into because when you are idle after working out with mucsle you still burn fat.
