    The strange part is ... I wonder how many people in that room were adversely impacted by a carb ridden menu for the day? I'm sure that people were yawning throughout the meeting. I know that I'd have my head down on the table!

      Wonder if this same people would tempt the alcoholic with alcohol or the diabetic with sugar or the person with peanut allergies with nuts? If they know you are doing Atkins and still not making any accomodation, ask yourself why.
      What a great point! I had family members really pushing food on me this evening that they know i can't have - almost as if they wanted me to fail... i don't think they would be pushing a beer if i was in AA.

          good for you!!! I am type 2 diabetic, lol and my dh is type one. He eats junk food so he thinks I should too. But he is super skinny so ya know. anyhow, when I go to visit my mom, she still asks me to eat junk. she is in her 70s. lol. I tell her all the time, I cant have sugar stuff. She dont get the bread and potato has sugars.... keep up the good work!! You should be proud of yourself.

          5' 3" female
          weighed 160 three weeks ago. was doing the new atkins.
          Mon, June 8th,2009 went to atkin 72. weight was 156.8
          I would like to get back to 140 for my first goal.
